Atlantic Canada Swiss Chalet
Bill Allen, President of Fresh Casual Restaurants Inc. had previously relied on an Ontario company to do the millwork in his Atlantic Canada Swiss Chalet restaurants, until his general contractor recommended Foxwoods as an excellent resource for quality woodwork in the Maritimes. With designs already created, Foxwoods was contracted in 2011 to carry out the custom interior millwork for everything from tables, chairs and booths, to counters, cabinets and even shadow boxes.
According to Bill, “The process was very fluid. Bruno was actively involved in dialogue with the architect and he foresaw and smoothed out any difficulties before they became costly problems.” For example, a column that was not in the design would have landed right in the middle of a table. “Seeing the issue, Bruno got online with the architect, sent pictures, and worked with him on a new design to circumnavigate the pillar.”
The first Swiss Chalet restaurant in Fredericton – delivered on-time and on-budget, established a good relationship between Foxwoods and Bill Allen of Atlantic Swiss Chalet restaurants. The millwork projects Foxwoods has delivered in restaurants in Moncton and Charlottetown, have forged a lasting relationship.
